India’s PM: ‘Homosexuality Is a Disease’

It's not the just Pakistanis making degrading comments about gays and lesbians. At the same time as the protests in Pakistan, India's Prime Minister was busy being gay was an "unnatural" and "fast spreading" disease. At least they can finally agree on something, right? Oh, teh gayz. Always the world's peace makers.

Your Favorite Same-Sex Glee Couples Kiss

On the last leg of their stage show in Dublin, the cast of Glee pulled out all of the stops. Heather Morris and Naya Rivera, who play Brittany and Santana (a bisexual and lesbian girl) share a kiss, as do Darren Criss and Chris Colfer, who play Blaine and Kurt, gay students who have been dating on the show for quite some time. While the skit is gimmicky and silly, it's an interesting look at how even Glee's tame same-sex material is revolutionary for young, queer teens.


Cuba’s ‘Pride Parade’

Members of Cuba's LGBT Rights Observatory march down a Havana street for Pride. The group couldn't call the event a "march" because it would require a police permit. The official LGBT organization is run by Fidel Castro's daughter who claims that pride parades aren't needed in the country because gays and lesbians are equal and a parade would be considered an anti-government protest.
